Share the appliance details

Upload photos of each appliance, its location, and any stairs, doorways, hallways, or access paths. Let us know whether it is already disconnected.

2

Confirm the pickup and price

Straightforward appliance pickups can usually be priced from photos. For multiple appliances, difficult basement access, or unclear carry routes, we may recommend a free on-site estimate before the final upfront price is confirmed.

Access & planning

Access and pickup planning

Appliance removal quotes are easier to prepare when we can see the appliance and the route it needs to travel to the truck. Photos of each appliance, stairways, hallways, doorways, turns, and the exit path help us understand access before we arrive.

  • Appliance type, size, and quantity
  • Fridge or freezer dimensions where helpful
  • Basement stairs, landings, turns, and narrow exits
  • Condo and apartment entry paths
  • Appliance location and distance to the truck
  • Parking and loading access
  • Whether the appliance is already disconnected
  • Whether doors, hoses, trays, or loose parts are still attached
  • Multiple appliances in one pickup
  • Storage-area access where relevant

For several furniture pieces or a room clear-out, see our Furniture Removal page. If the job is mainly a full garage or basement cleanout, use our Garage Cleanout or Basement Cleanout pages. For mixed-property move-outs, see our Property Cleanouts page. For general mixed junk, see our Junk Removal page. For commercial site work, see our Commercial Junk Removal page.

Pricing

How appliance removal pricing works

Appliance removal is quoted from the appliances included in your quote and how they reach the truck. We look at appliance type, size, and quantity, stair and carry paths, doorway turns, condo or basement access where relevant, and whether the job covers one appliance or several from the same property. A single fridge pickup and a multi-appliance pickup are priced differently based on the confirmed scope. Photos can help us price straightforward jobs, while multiple appliances or difficult access may need a free on-site estimate before final pricing is confirmed. You receive one upfront price before loading begins.

FAQ

Appliance removal questions

What photos help with an appliance removal quote?

Photos of each appliance, its location, nearby doorways or stairways, and the path to the exit or truck help us understand type, size, and access. For basement or condo jobs, include stair landings, turns, and parking or loading access where relevant.

Do appliances need to be disconnected before pickup?

Yes. Appliances need to be safely disconnected before removal. Let us know whether there are gas, water, electrical, hardwired, or built-in connections when you send photos so we can confirm the pickup plan.

Does a fridge or freezer need to be emptied?

Yes. Please empty and unplug refrigerators and freezers before pickup so they are ready to move.

Can you remove washers, dryers, stoves, dishwashers, and microwaves?

Yes. Those appliances can be included when they are listed in your quote, access is confirmed, and any required connections are safely disconnected before pickup.

Can appliances be removed from a basement or condo?

Yes, when access is confirmed. Basement jobs can depend on stair width, landings, and carry distance, while condo jobs depend on the route from the appliance to the loading area. Share photos so we can review the path before confirming the job.

Can multiple appliances be collected in one visit?

Yes. Multiple appliances from the same property can be removed in one visit when they are included in the confirmed quote. List each appliance in your notes or photos.

Do you remove built-in appliances?

Built-in appliances may need review before the job is confirmed. Send photos showing how the appliance is installed, the surrounding area, and the route out so we can confirm whether it is included in your quote once safely disconnected.

What happens to appliances after pickup?

Appliances are handled through the appropriate disposal, recycling, or scrap options available for the item and its condition.
